Required Hardware:

• Digilent Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA Development Board. Please note that the 1-Million Gate FPGA upgrade is REQUIRED.
• OV7620 Camera Module. This is the identical camera module to the one used with the CMUCam.
• Interface Cable Assembly Instructions
• Alternate Cable Assembly Instructions, if the first link is not clear.
• A parallel JTAG cable comes with the development kit. Since the USB JTAG cable Digilent provides is not compatible with iMPACT (the program you will use later to program the board), you will need to use a computer with a parallel (printer) port. If this is not possible, USB to parallel converters are available from Newegg for a small price.

Please note that you must apply the hardware modifications here, otherwise the system will not work properly.

The 1-Million-Gate FPGA upgrade option can be selected on Digilent's website after clicking the link above and clicking "Add to Cart". You will be presented with the following screen; select the option highlighted in red and you should be all set!
